I’m reading this epoc a little late. It is the end of July. I talked to Dr. Kaufman this morning and mentioned that perhaps I would like to go with him next time. I take it BACK! What an amazing journey! It only reinforces my deep admiration for Richard as a physician, humanitarian, and long time friend. It is good to have him back safe and sound to civilization.

Thanks for telling me about the narrative of your trip to Belize and Honduras. What an amazing, adventuresome time in the jungle. I admire you for providing this great Christian service to the Kekchi. I never told you about my neice, Linda who was 30 years among the Kekchi in Guatemala. She started a school there which is now quite large. She is an RN and has helped so many of these people with their health challenges. All that time she served with the Mennonite Mission Board and the Mennonite Central Committee. Good work, Dr. Kauffman, my friend and physician, in the “jungles” of Fulton and Cobb Counties, too. You are
a very specially endowed person to bring glory to God. EARL WITMER

God Bless you Dr. Kauffman. What an amazing journey you had! I hope one day you will publish a book recording your humanitarian efforts. It will certainly be a good read. Thank you for all that you do in Cobb County and the World! Sheri Underwood

Dr. Kaufman, you are the man! It’s amazing to see what you have done.
We at Delta Airlines are waiting for your office return. It’s unfortunate to hear that your practice has been temporarily closed. We hope all is going well with finding a temporary facillity in the near future? We are anxiously waiting to hear when you will be opening up your practice again.
Hope all is well. Please let us know where and when to tell the pilots when we are looking at your upcoming opening so we can get the word out.
Most Respectfully,
Don
